Lew Zuchman shares his story about joining the civil rights Freedom Riders movement when he was 19 years old and eventually serving time in jail side by side with black riders.
Also, in the second half of the show Bernice Johnson Reagon recalls her time singing protest songs with "The Freedom Singers" as a way to secure equal rights in the civil rights movement.
